Sm(ALL) Folk Festival is an inclusive arts festival for young audiences with a focus on accessibility and affordability, aiming to reach children of all backgrounds and abilities (21st Feb - 6th March).

Making Waves

Jess Rowell in association with Draíocht, Blanchardstown present Making Waves.

An immersive multi-sensory dance theatre performance designed specifically for children aged 8 to 13 years with mild to more complex needs. A magical sea voyage in which the audience and performers set sail in search of hidden treasure. Along the way they encounter rolling waves, sparkling fish and swooping gulls.

Captain Splash's Eggsellent Adventure

Arrrrrrr you ready to set sail for fun and imagination? All aboard as Captain Splash takes his audience on a magical adventure. This is a pirate magic show where children become part of the crew, perform magic tricks, and hear tales of the high seas. Meet Squawk the parrot, Sam the Clam  and Naughty Narwal may even stop by. Be amazed by Captain Splash's amazing sword skills. Laugh as magic wands go crazy. Smile during a trip through the Bermuda Triangle of Terror. This is a show the whole family will treasure. Aimed at children aged 3-8.

Written and performed by Jeff Keough, the creator of the hit show "Jackula". Jeff has performed at the White House, Leinster House, and his daughter's Senior Infant Class. Jeff has appeared on RTE, national television in the USA, and performed to over 11 million people over the course of his 30 year career.


WhistleBlast Quartet

Nationwide multimedia performance of a fantastic and famous symphonic classic plus other great repertoire, including Stravinsky’s Petruška plus Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf and Kurt Weill songs.

WhistleBlast has devised extensive, unique outreach and performance programmes facilitating young people and wider communities to engage positively with best quality live music. Inclusion, integration of mainstream and special needs sectors and fun are the aim! The focus of our work is to provide excellent interactive experiences of live music for everybody and families of all backgrounds to continue as, or become future audiences & performers. Quartet repertoire can be enjoyed by all ages and demographics. WhistleBlast has huge experience in creating and delivering programming since 2006.

Long time ago, in a land wild and free, lived a king of the trolls, king of stone , wind and sea. But now, he is old and frail and it is time to pass the crown to one new.

Who will step forward? What will they offer? Who will the people choose and why?

A performance and art activity for ages 4+

The Teddy Bears' Picnic

If you go down to the woods today you’re in for a big surprise…

The teddy bears’ picnic! Where can we find it? What’s the address? Are we invited? Do teddies eat food? Is the tea they drink real? It’s hard to digest, this mythical meal!

Theodor is a detective who found Timbuktu and a two headed llama that lives in Peru. Now Theo’s hot on the trail of the famous teddy bears’ picnic… a tricky puzzle to pick. Come join us and together, we’ll try our best to help Theo on this cuddly quest. The Teddy Bears’ Picnic is a theatrical treat for children aged 5+ and everyone else is welcome too. (Teddy bears are especially welcome!)
