Dublin’s most electric & charismatic 6 piece band are back! Ballymun pop/rock legends Dextra make their triumphant return to the Axis stage for one night only.
Formed around identical twins Declan Grange (Vocals) and Peter Grange (Drums), Dextra's hook-driven songs are the brainchild of stage-diving front-man Declan, whose killer choruses and sing-a-long melodies offer a throwback to the trippy, poppy, psychedelic 1980’s “Madchester” and the Hacienda era. Dextra’s Classic Rock vibes are delivered with menace by Guitarist James Kearney, who can turn many a head with Hendrix-esque fretwork. Bassist & vocalist Mark Byrne lays the solid foundation whilst guitar duo Dean Kearns and Valerian Askelovic reinforce a wall of psychedelic sound.
Dextra are Dublin’s original crazy gang and their live shows must be seen to be believed. No audience leaves disappointed and no sceptic leaves unconverted.
