ATD Ireland - Building Community: Leaving No One Behind

The “Leave No One Behind” exhibition features a series of collages which were created in workshops as an artistic response to questions around poverty and exclusion. Groups responded to prompts including “What does it mean to Leave No One Behind?”, “What does support feel like to you, and “What are barriers to participation?”, using them as a starting point to create these artworks.

The results of 13 workshops with 10 groups around the country, the exhibition celebrates creative expression as an equaliser, supporting everyone to have their viewpoints heard regardless of level of education, level of spoken English, confidence, and familiarity with the topic.

ATD Ireland works with people in persistent poverty to build a more just and inclusive society. The Building Community project focuses on ways to build community together where everyone is welcome, respected, and where skills are recognised.
