TU Dublin Ballymun Music Programme presents:
Summer Music Fun in Ballymun
Join the children and young people of the TU Dublin Ballymun Music Programme for a FREE concert as they play a selection of music that they’ve been learning with fun upbeat tunes to get you in the mood for summer!
Parents, family, friends and anyone who enjoys music are warmly invited to come along and enjoy the talent of our current group of young players from across all of our seven partner schools.
An end-of-year certificate presentation for all our young musicians will take place after the concert in Axis Café to acknowledge and celebrate all their hard work practising their instruments all year. Please do stay around for that.
The TU Dublin Ballymun Music Programme runs in seven schools in the Ballymun area and children from age 5 to 18 get the chance to learn musical skills, play an instrument such as the flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone and drums and participate in performances and creative music projects throughout their primary and secondary school lives. Some of our past students have gone on to study music at university and win prestigious competitions nationally and internationally.
