Artist Residencies Axis Artists in Residence will see artists devlop new work, reflect on their practice and engage with creatives and communities in areas of visual arts, film, poetry, music and heritage. His residency will focus on how traditional music is presented, especially in terms of its accompaniment Esosa Ighodaro Esosa Ighodaro is a screenwriter, director, vocalist, and actor based in Dublin. Esosa aims to develop and direct 3 new short pieces in collaboration with artists of colour Cliodhna Noonan Cliodhna Noonan is an established Early Years Arts performer and event manager. Collaborating with Akvile Simanskiene, she will focus on creative opportunities for children ages 0 -6 Triona Sings Tríona Sings released her debut EP in 2021. Her axis residency, entitled The Secret Singers will showcase a diverse group who are amazing singers, but who are not yet known. Aaron Sunderland Carey A visual artist from Ballymun, Aaron’s work captures essences of Ballymun - the sense of connection, the times of change, the good, the bad and everything in between.
