Art room

The Art Room caters for up to 20 people in this multifunctional room. With its bright airy feel, this space is ideal for classes and art groups. It also houses a printing press used regularly by our local print group. The Art Room is also used by individual artists developing their work and sometimes doubles as a rehearsal room. It is available to hire by the hour and enquiries can be made via our website.

Opening Hours

Monday - Friday: 9am - 8pm

Out of Hours

Monday to Friday/ or Saturday - additional €35 per hour 

Sun & Bank Holiday - additional €60 per hour

Cancellation Fees

  • Up to two weeks prior to the event: 25% of room hire

  • Between 2 weeks and 48 hours prior to the event: 50% of room hire

  • 48 hours or less: 100% of room hire

How to book the Art Room

  1. Go to the booking page and select Art Room – Enquiry (to your right).

  2. Choose your date and time.

    a) The Art Room is booked hour by hour. 

    b) If you need more than one hour, select consecutive time slots (e.g. 2–4pm = two slots, 2pm & 3pm). Select the first date and time, then click ‘select another time’ until you have added all, then click ‘select and continue’.

    c) If you would like recurring bookings, select the first date and time, then click ‘select and make recurring’ and advise for how many weeks you would like the booking to reoccur.

  3. Add details about your activity (e.g., workshop, meeting, exhibition prep).

  4. Submit the form.

  5. Axis staff will review and confirm your booking.

  6. You’ll then receive a confirmation email.
