They are back with Dermot Bolger’s "From These Green Heights"  a journey through the lives of two Dublin families. Spanning four decades, the action moves from the 1960s when Dessie first glimpses the landmark Ballymun Towers, to the night in 2004 when his young daughter packs up to leave the flat that has been their home. From These Green Heights is a hidden history of modern Dublin, exploring the relationship between a stigmatized suburb and the inhabitants who fought to reshape it and call it home.

Since its foundation in 1972 Coolmine Drama Circle has been entertaining audiences both young and old. Since then the group have presented no less than 65 productions locally, nationwide, and in the UK. From small beginnings in the library of Coolmine Community School the group has grown such that their latest production Believing In Butterflies was well received in both Draiocht and Westport Town Hall Theatre.

This special one night only performance in the Axis Theatre is in aid of the St. Aidan’s CBS Immersion Trip to Tanzania in October 2019.  All profits will go directly to this very worthwhile cause
