OTHERWORLD HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL

Thousands of families, young people, performers, artists, food sellers and entertainers will land on the Ballymun Plaza on Halloween night for the annual Otherworld Festival. The evening kicks off with a ZOMBIE community parade, followed by hours of creepy on-site entertainment, rounding off the night with a spectacular fireworks display. Otherworld provides an important opportunity for local organisations to work together in the months leading up to the festival. This year we have more groups and volunteers involved than ever before and as a community, we’re excited to see how it all comes together on Halloween night. We are still looking for individuals and groups to get involved in this year’s event so drop us a line if you want to build something or volunteer – there are so many jobs for people to help out with. We’d also love people to get in touch with their spookier side and take part in the revamped Otherworld Festival Parade. Dress up as a Zombie and be part of our escape the zombie parade. For more information about this year’s line up visit www.otherworldfestival.com or contact Ciaran Mahony in Dublin City Council at ciaran.mahony@dublincity.ie.
