Ger has gone on to find success within the Irish music scene, playing major festivals like Electric Picnic and Body & Soul, headlining major Dublin venues like The Academy, Workmans Club and The Sound House. His group went on to receive album of the week with The Irish Times and Nialler9, and were also included in the list of artists nominated for RTE Choice Music Prize Album of the Year.
Ger also created, produced and presented a radio show for NearFM called The Artist’s Lounge. The show was strictly dedicated to the playing and promotion of independent music acts operating within Ireland. This stage is used as another platform for independent artists to grow their audience. Ger has also facilitated multiple workshops and projects in conjunction with Axis over the past 5 years.
Ger received a Local Heroes Award from Dublin City Council Culture Company in 2018..
Ger obtained a Higher National Diploma with Distinction in Creative Media Production during 2019, and is currently studying for his Bachelors Hons Degree in Film and TV Production with Wolverhampton University, in conjunction with Colaiste Dhulaigh.
