For over a decade axis has been actively developing our youth arts/mental health work. It's an area of work we are particulaly interested in and committed to. So we are delighted to see a cracking new play called CRACKS hit our stage next week (as part of Quintessence Theatre Company's national tour)

CRACKS is a darkly comic & deeply moving new play in which an unsuccessful suicide attempt leaves young Leanne Dowd estranged and attempting to pick up the pieces of a life still shattered by mental illness. Leanne invites audiences to join her on a sensorially dynamic and visually rich journey as she navigates her mental health.

Emma Connors, axis' Arts Development Manager has been invited to host an on-stage post-show discussion with the cast, director and a professional counsellor next Wednesday 10th October @ axis

Tickets still available from our box office. Special rates available for youth groups, youth services & young people

This event will co-incide with the launch of axis' new Culture Club for young people (more on this new development to follow)
