Cultural Adaptations is a partnership project bringing together cultural and adaptation organisations (from Scotland, Ireland, Belgium and Sweden) to explore culture’s role in society’s adaptation to climate change.

It was wonderful having the current Laureate na nÓg, Sarah Crossan with us in Ballymun for the morning. Sarah is a poet and novelist and is Ireland's fifth Laureate na nÓg (holding the title from 2018 until 2020). Her theme as Laureate is hashtag#WeAreThePoets, a two-year project inspiring young people to express themselves through poetry and verse.

Applications are open for axis’ new bursary scheme to facilitate and mentor new work for the theatre.
Axis has offered mentorship, space, development time and production to a range of theatre artists over the years, becoming a cultural hub on the Northside of Dublin and a space where artists and the public come together and assemble to develop and explore new work and new ideas.

We have a charming 3 weeks Halloween memories and storytelling project kicking off tonight in axis. It's one of the many community projects developed as part of the 2018 Otherworld Halloween Festival programme. Facilitated by local storyteller/artist Aideen Mc Bride, Bobbin' For Apples will develop a new collection of stories from local people accoss Ballymun.
